One of the articles in this issue (on p 46) is about the restoration of the 1959-60 Queen Elizabeth Planetarium in Edmonton, Alberta, written by David Murray. A film, Floating Dome, by Steven Hope has been made of the restoration process here: https://vimeo.com/515429107. The images in the article in On Site review are interesting, intriguing, but not a patch on the filming. The sceptre paths in Coronation Park become something like elliptical orbits, the dome glows gold, the gold aluminum mullions shimmer. Well worth a look.
